What our Guests say
We have been running Sunnyside for 6 years now and had amazing comments left by our guests each week. Here are just a few!
- “Loved the gorgeous cottage, the views, fenced garden and all the special touches”
- “Sunnyside is such a lovely, peaceful getaway”
- “The cottage has everything you need for an amazing holiday, it’s a real home from home”
This was our second time at the cottage as we stayed for a short break in October. It is located on a very quiet back road running through the lovely quaint village, the views are amazing and the walks through the gorgeous countryside never ending! The cottage is very welcoming, warm and cosy, two lovely size bedrooms, and a very nice bathroom, and very useful laundry room, the living area is one room with the kitchen, dining and sitting area as if as one, cleverly making a very welcoming space. All fixtures and fittings are of very high quality, and the log burner is a lovely cosy feature! The back and front gardens are very safe for your dog, and are not really overlooked giving a lovely private setting. The cross keys pub in the village is very welcoming, with lovely locals and good beer and the dog is made to feel very welcome! We will be returning very soon!
Loved the gorgeous cottage, the views, fenced garden and all the special touches that made our stay. Such a lovely quiet getaway, we loved the sitting room and the sofa is so comfortable. The garden was excellent for the dog and also for taking the dog for his morning and evening walks. We will definitely return.
Such a peaceful location, the cottage has everything you need for an amazing holiday, it's a home from home, so clean and comfortable. There is a book with all the essential information, the laundry room is such a god send especially after exploring the local area with the kids. We would definitely recommend this anyone with a family as there is loads to do locally and Edinburgh is just over an hour away. We are hoping to book again, just us adults for a more romantic break next year. Perfect for everyone.
